"I can wholeheartedly recommend J-translation to anyone. Last year, my dream
was to be accepted by the prestigious JET programme and work and live in
Japan. I wanted to give my application every possible chance of succeeding
and so decided to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test(JLPT4) exam.
With just under a month to go before the test in December and over a hundred
kanji to learn it was a daunting task but thankfully my tutor was just what
I needed to help me meet my goals.

I found my private tutor excellent and always enjoyed her lessons
thoroughly. She helped me understand a lot of difficult grammar points that
books just can’t cover that well. My tutor was also very encouraging and
supportive and helped me to be more fluent and confident when speaking
Japanese. I learnt and improved far more in the two months of our lessons
than I did learning Japanese by myself for an entire year.

I passed the exam and my tutor then helped me prepare for the JET
application and interview which is notoriously difficult. As well as being
informed of the procedure and potential questions, I also learned to say
very useful phrases and practised polite manners that impressed the
interviewers during my interview. I recently found out that I have been
accepted on the JET programme to teach in Mie prefecture. I am very grateful
